Thankful for You!Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! Here's wishing you and yours a fantastic holiday! We
made it through our first week in the store by ourselves and even learned a thing or two! How about that?
Ulvaldo has 3 new scents, he reformulated our previous scent Going Home,
he created Bella Noche and one that he affectionately calls Spike (it reminds
him of our friend Fran's hair). It's real name is Karma, and it
is a unisex fragrance, as is Bella Noche. It is very cool to use the same scent and then have it be very different
on each of us! He is in the final stages of his newest creation, First Kiss.
We have new 2 ounce perfume spray bottles on their way just in time for the holidays, which
will retail for $19.95 with the signature fragrance of your choice. There is no show this week, the station closes for
the week of Thanksgiving, so we'll return on December 5th. Enjoy the holiday, Dolls!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes.....Hello Dolls! Here's the scoop....
We are in major transition
at the store, and with the departure of my right hand gal Rhonda we are in a
bit of a tailspin! She is off to California to help out her family, and I cannot tell you how much we will miss her!
She did a bang up job for us, and we are so grateful for the time that we had her. Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
So here's the deal, until we get moved into Cyndy Jayne's space on the Avenue, we are having very limited
store hours. Our current location was intended for my private offices, not a store, and people are having such
trouble finding us! We are currently ABOVE Cyndy Jaynes, and the entrance is on FIRST St. Look for the big
sign that says The Next Step, k?
All workshops have been
postponed until January 2009.
(those of you who were pre-registered for November
and December, relax...your spot has already been reserved. Thanks for understanding!)
Anyone
signing up for January workshops from November 15-December 15 will
get a $5.00 discount. Go to the workshop tab for more information!
We are offering FABULOUS gift certificates that are too cute for their own good! You can
give a dollar amount or specify a product or service. Our Fabulous
You Collection is a big hit, and it includes a shower gel, body lotion and roll-on perfume in any of
our signature scents, and it retails for $25.95. And our gift wrapping
is the bomb!
We are trying to get a jump start on the packing while still running my practice
during the day. My husband Ulvaldo (aka Wally) is stepping up and taking a turn at running the store,
so don't be surprised if you are greeted by a well mannered and polite man!
He has done his
homework and knows all of the products, plus he is the new perfumier, with a nose just as good as Rhonda's! He has created
his first scent, a unisex number that he calls Boo, which was met with rave
reviews. Thanks in advance for being patient with us as we grow. Once we are on the Avenue we will have the rhythm
down. Take our limited afternoon hours as a sign to take a nap or bubble bath before shopping! Woohoo!
New products are coming in daily, so swing by and see what we have cooked up for unique Christmas gifts! The
temporary Store Hours are:
Tuesdays - Fridays...................
1:30pm - 5:30pm
Saturdays...............................12:00
- 3:00pm
Thank you for your patience, Dolls!

Ready...Set...Glow!Hi Dolls! I have some exciting news to share with you, Drop Dead Fabulous
will be moving down to the Avenue! Cyndy Janes has chosen to go out of business and we will be
taking over that space on the corner of Wenatchee Ave and First. We are currently right above her in the same building.
We are sad to see her go and wish her the best of luck, but we are also excited to get little
Dee Dee down to the Ave where she belongs! My husband says that the store is our
baby, so I decided to name her...natch! I'll keep you posted as to when!
On tomorrow's show I will
be talking about giving yourself an Attitude Adjustment! In a good way, of course... note:
I am the second segment tomorrow, so I will be on somewhere between 9:45am and 10:15am. Hard call with a live show!
Pop in and check out the store this Saturday at the Holiday Bazzaar Open House
from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Lots of downtown stores are involved and it should be a fun day. We have a remote booth
at the Senior's Center Bazzaar as well, so make sure you say hello to Rhonda
and Margie!
Have a great week! Laura

Happy Halloween Dolls! The bras came down on Sunday without a hitch and a great group of Dolls showed up to help get them down.
Thanks to Margie, Nicole, Tim, Fran, Marsha, Vera and Helen, and of course thanks to my peacock Ulvaldo for bringing the donuts...
The show for Friday is about the social masks that we hide behind, and
it IS Halloween after all, let's see if you can recognize me!
Drop Dead Fabulous
will be having a remote booth at the Senior Center's Holiday Bazaar on November 8th from 9:00am to 4:00pm,
so if you're in the area stop in and say hi! We'll have some great gifts with us and of course our very
distinctive packaging, you'll know a gift from DDF the moment that you see
it. Most women tell us that they like the packaging as much as the gift inside!
The
workshop dates for November are:
Monday, Nov 3rd - How
to Catch a Peacock...........Dating Monday, Nov 10th - You Glow Girl!..........................Self
Empowerment Monday, Nov 17th - Can We Glow Now?...................Body
Acceptance Monday, Nov 24th - The Art of Letting Glow..............Breakup
Recovery
Cost is $30.00, please call us at 667-9300 or register here on the site. Doors open at 6:30, workshop
starts at 7:00pm. Grab your girlfriends and do it as a group!
Wishing you a fabulous week, Dolls! Laura

Doll in Spirit Award
- In memory of Kelli, who lost her long battle with breast cancer at 42.
I never knew her, but in the loving stories told by her family, I met her, I felt her and know that this would have been right
up her alley. I hear that she was a Big Mouthed Broad too, and we all know how much I love a big-mouthed broad!

Dolls on DisplayToday was a success on so many levels! We had a great turnout for the Bra Hookin' Party and the total
bra count was 1327! Those dolls had those bras connected
in just a little over an hour. What fun it was to walk them across the avenue in traffic. We got police escort
after the fact, but it was a miscommunication. They were great! Thanks Wenatchee PD!
Be sure
to take a stroll along the pedestrian bridge at the bottom of First St now until the 26th and see the final product.
Give yourself time to read the bras, some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, but they will all inspire you to be
aware, which was the point, after all!
It was very hectic, as the Wenatchee World showed up to do a story and a
video for their website, the article is slotted for Monday, October 20. It is available on their website now.
Jaime Adame wrote a story that I was happy to read, and he put the spotlight where it belonged.
Mike Bonnicksen produced a great video that highlights the day. You can catch it at www.wenatcheeworld.com under videos. Kathy Kiefer, an award-winning filmmaker from Soap Lake
did 6 hours of taping until her crew's batteries ran out. What an experience!
What an
amazing woman, so gifted in her craft, with the unique ability to capture the human element. She was creating magic
today, and it was felt by everyone present. We will proudly carry her work in the store! Kathy's top notch
team are professional and really know what teamwork is. I was very impressed with the job that they did. Thank
you Andrew, Gabe, Jen and Heather.
I want to thank everyone that participated and gave
of their skills, their time, and their cash in a recession! It just goes to show what a few Dolls can do when they put
their efforts together. So far we have raised not only awareness but $461 for Wellness Place, but we still have
a week to go. It's not too late to donate to the cause!
My loving gratitude to Ulvaldo
(my most amazing husband), Rhonda, Margie, Monica, Jeri, Renae, Ceceilia, Jill, Herminia, Tim,
Connie, Karla, Marlene, Shelley, Charmen, Suzanne (whose Fairy bra I HAD to keep) The
Bosom Buddies walking team: Fran, Vera, Marsha, Velda, Linda and Denise. Kathy
W. for being the volunteer to reel in last minute donations of cash, rope, and safety pins and a big thanks
to Nicole Castille for starting the ball rolling with a great idea that took the hands and voices of
so many women to see it to fruition.
This is for every woman who forwarded
an email, told friends at work, donated bras, attached money and heartfelt notes to them, decorated them until they
looked like art rather than functional lingerie, and cared enough to get involved. Recognize that each action was crucial
to the final result.
Dolls, look at what you've accomplished! Be proud of it!
Have a fabulous week! Laura

Dolls for a Cause!Well, things are crazy around here! Thanks to my peeps at the Wenatchee Goodwill, and Dolls bringing
their bras into the store, we had an overwhelming 203 bras come in yesterday! Woohoo! That gives us 966 just in the store!
Rhonda spent
a good part of yesterday sorting through all the bras and putting them into categories to make Saturday go smoother.
What a job! Thank You!
A big shout out to Kathy Wright, the
newest Doll to roll up her sleeves and pitch in with the actual work of this! Kathy is a 20 year veteran of fund raisers
and she utilized her sizeable talents to get people to give her money and things! (her words...lol) She is
a survivor herself, and who could say no to her? Thanks Doll!
Thanks to her, we now have 1000
feet of pink rope, a 1000 safety pins, cash donations, and she isn't done!
Thank you to LocalTel, Don Sangster Motors, Fred Meyers, Stan's, JoAnn Fabrics, Wal Mart,
Home Depot and Big R.
The show this week is a continuation of Changing
Your Spots, but this Friday we will discuss how inner work can change your pattern.
Don't miss it!

Bridge to a Cure BlogHi Dolls! Things are moving right along and we are up to 505 bras so far, but our goal is 2000....tell every single doll that you know! Nicoleis keeping a cool blog on all the progress, and there is a slide show that you
have got to see of the first decorating party that was hosted by Terri
Neel of Northwest Wholesale. They made some
very cool bras to donate, and you can do the same with your girlfriends. The blog can be found at www.nicolesvisions.blogspot.com. By the way, a big shout out to those decorating Dolls, Terri,
Dina, Alicia, Taysha, Candice, Kylie, Suzanne, Charmin, Shelley,
Carla and Ken. (Ken is a Doll!)
Yes, I STILL remember all of your names......you are unforgettable! We got the OK from the mayor's
office (thank you!) to display the bras on the pedestrian bridge at the bottom of First St (how convenient for us!)
instead of the George Sellar bridge. We don't want to cause accidents, and there is no opportunity to slow down
there either. On the walking bridge people can take their time looking at them, as many have been decorated or have
written messages on the bras, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to appreciate them! I encourage you to write
something on your bras before you donate them, and I am challenging every Doll to attach one
buck to each bra that they donate. Wellness Place can use the donations to fund existing programs
and maybe even start new ones. my previous post lists all of the drop off points around town.
Please
put it on your calendar to join us for the bra hookin' party on the 18th. After we have them together we can collectively
walk them to the bridge and hang up the exhibit.....how cool is that? Should we all wear pink for a photo op? Uh...YEP!
Drop Dead Fabulous is swinging into full gear with new products that
we can barely keep in the store, like the Joey Junior, the creme de la creme
of purse organizers. You will LOVE this thing! You can switch from
one purse to another instantly, and it makes finding things in your handbag a snap!
And remember, I am donating
all of the profits of Rhonda's newest scent Aware in
the month of October to Wellness Place. Margie has been inspired,
creating some new bracelet styles that are really unique and very eye catching, they have fabulous written all over them.
Stop in and take a look! Nicole has some beautiful
note cards and matted, ready-to-frame prints that will make great gifts. My DDF Dolls have been busy! I am keeping busy spinning all the plates with both businesses and answering all the emails about the Toast
and Coffee show, which I adore, so keep them coming! With a weekly show we will always need show
ideas, so let me know what you'd like to see. This week's show on Friday, October
10th is on Changing Your Spots; how your self-talk can hold you back from being
who you truly want to be. Incidentally, Dolls....what we all want to be is
Drop Dead Fabulous! Know that you are!
Wishing you a
fabulous week, Laura Herrera...RBMB (Resident Big Mouthed Broad) :)

Hook 'em and Book 'em!!!!Hi Dolls! Gather up those bras and donate them!
A big shout out to Melissa
at Wellness Place who is psyched to know that all the money we raise is for their patrons, and another shout
out to Brenda at LocalTel for jumping on board and helping out with promotional
PR. She donated the posters and flyers for the event. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! And as for the
Drop Dead Fabulous Dolls: Rhonda has
lotion coming out of her fingertips as if it were magic, getting ready for the release of Aware,
her newest scent made for this event and Margie is sending every Doll she
sees to the shop with bras and Nicole is keeping it all updated by blogging
on all of the updates, taking photos and wrapping boxes with pretty pink paper for all of the drop off points.
I am utilizing my Big Mouthed Broad skills and media connections to further the cause. Fridays show for 9-26 is

Bling your Brassieres Dolls! We are having so much fun collecting the bras for our Bridge to a Cure effort! I received an email from
Terri Neel who had a GREAT idea, she is hosting a Bling your Brassiere
party so women can get together and decorate their bras before donating them. How cool is that?
We must have a contest now, so make sure that your name and at least phone number or email are attached to your decorated
bra, and I will pick the winner. The best bling bra will get the pursehook
of their choice on me, which is a $24.95 value. Bling away ladies! Keep sending those bras! Soon I will
list drop off points around town, but for now keep bringing them in the boutique and say Hi! While you're there,
be sure to sample Rhonda's newest scent that she created especially for Breast Cancer
Awareness Month which we have named Aware, and let me tell you, I believe that
this is her best scent to date! The topic on this weeks show is Jealousy,
and it should be an interesting one. Don't miss it! Have a drop dead fabulous week!
